The Nepali Society of Law and Economics (NSLE) is Nepal's first platform dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of law and economics. We bring together legal scholars, economists, policymakers, and researchers to examine how legal institutions and economic incentives shape outcomes in the Nepali context from contract and regulatory design to infrastructure, governance, and development policy. Through a monthly discussion series and an online publication, NSLE aims to build a rigorous, locally grounded body of work that applies economic reasoning to legal questions and vice versa, fostering a community of thinkers committed to evidence-based policy analysis in Nepal.
